What changes the price
These are the things that move a quote up or down.
Number of pages
Each extra page means more design, content and testing.
Content
Ready-to-use text and photos keep the cost down. Writing or sourcing them adds time.
Features
Booking, a webshop, a members area or links to other systems add build time.
Languages
A second language, for example English next to Dutch, roughly doubles the content work.
Running costs
Hosting and your domain name are separate yearly costs, paid to the hosting provider. Zenso Digital can advise on a provider that fits your site.

- How much does a website cost in the Netherlands?
- It depends on the size and the features. A simple landing page starts at €750 and a business website of up to five pages starts at €1,750, excluding VAT.
- Are the prices including VAT?
- No. All prices exclude 21% VAT (BTW).
- Is it a fixed price or by the hour?
- Both are possible. Clearly scoped projects get a fixed quote. Open-ended work is billed by the hour at €60 to €75, with an estimate up front.
- Why does a custom website cost more than a website builder?
- A website builder gives you a template that you set up yourself. A custom site is designed around your business, loads fast and is set up properly for search engines, without you doing the work.
